Vero IT weblog - personal IT solutions
/Welcome to the first edition of the Vero IT weblog. We've recently resigned our website, and this is a new feature we've added.
Many business websites have blogs to assist with SEO (search engine optimization). They will write short blurbs, or in some cases link to articles they didn't write, who will in turn link back to the blog, which they can then post to social media. All of these link-backs are designed to make the search engines happy, but don't provide any real meaningful content. Rather than post of bunch of unless information here, or talk about solutions that we've likely already implemented for you (our clients), I'd like to use this space to post something of actual value.
If you're reading this, you probably own at least one personal computer, and you also likely have at least one smartphone and one tablet in your household. While our business focus does not include residential IT systems, I think this is a great space to talk about personal technology use and security, and when relevant to provide links to more specific material. If you have a specific idea or want to learn more about an application or other IT-related topic, please feel free to use the comment form and drop us the suggestion for future blog posts.
The first few posts will focus on personal security and backup - where to store your data and how to protect it. Please come back and join us for the next installment! You can follow us on twitter @Vero_IT for updates and curated technology-related retweets, or join our email list if you'd like to be personally notified when a new post goes up.
